7 Ways to Renew Your Relationship with Yourself for Greater Well-being
Greater Well-being Through Self-Care
The seasons are beginning to shift as we progress further into the month of September, and in the western hemisphere this means a shift from long summer days to shorter and cooler autumn days. In the fall, we naturally begin to shift inward, bidding farewell to backyard BBQs, endless sunshine and time spent outdoors with family and friends and we begin welcoming more time indoors and more time at home. In the fall and winter, nature calls on us to rest, to nourish and rejuvenate our bodies with deep love and connection with ourselves and loved ones, to eat warm and healthy foods and nurture our spirit in whatever way calls to us. It’s a great time to re-evaluate your self-care and strive for greater well-being.
As we begin spending more time indoors and at home, it’s possible we also notice we are spending more time alone. This time can be tough for some and completely welcomed by others. Wherever you fall on the spectrum, simply notice the feelings that arise for you when you have time alone so you can monitor your wellbeing. If you begin feeling lonely and know how to notice it, you’ll be better prepared to care for yourself.
