When you’re in a moment of anxiousness, try to redirect your thoughts. No matter what thought you’re stuck on, pause, take a breath, and say something calming to yourself. Some options you can consider are:

  • Every breath I inhale calms me and every breath I exhale takes away tension
  • I acknowledge that the only constant in life is change and am prepared for it
  • This too shall pass
